The Cochise College Center for Lifelong Learning‘s Brown Bag Lecture Series is presented each semester at the college’s campuses and centers. Weekly free lectures and presentations offer attendees the opportunity to hear fascinating stories and learn about a wide array of topics in a no-pressure environment.

This semester, lectures are presented on Mondays at the Benson Center, Tuesdays at the Douglas Government Center, located at 1012 N. G Ave., and Wednesdays at the Sierra Vista Campus in room 702. All lectures are from 12:10 to 1 p.m. and attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch.

• No Monday lecture at the Benson Center on Columbus Day.

• “Writing Your Life Memories”
Tuesday, Oct. 15, Douglas Government Center
Frena Grey-Davidson will offer encouragement to start walking the “life story path.” Whether you think you can write doesn’t matter; what matters is that your life has a story, and sharing that story becomes a journey of self-discovery.

• “The Wet Tropics of Queensland”
Wednesday, Oct. 16, Sierra Vista Campus, room 702
Naturalist and wildlife biologist Vince Pinto will present a fascinating and informative journey to the land down under. Australia has unique and ancient plants, bizarre wildlife and one of the world’s richest biosphere preserves. Pinto will help to unravel some of the many natural history mysteries found in this timeless land.
