DOUGLAS — The Cochise College women’s basketball team routed a short-handed South Mountain Community College team on Saturday, 77-33.
Te Oramae Solomon led Cochise with 17 points, followed by Ashleigh Sparks with 12, McCorra Ford with 11 and Arianna Anderson with 10.
Cochise is 18-8 overall and 12-7 in conference play. Next, the Apaches face Phoenix College at home on the Douglas Campus this Wednesday. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. Admission is free to all regular-season home games.
