The Apaches split in a doubleheader losing the first game but coming back and winning an important game 2.In game one, Jordon West did his best to change the outcome, but West couldn’t will Cochise College Apaches past Eastern AZ as Cochise College Apaches lost 3-2 in seven innings. West baffled Eastern AZ, striking out six batters. West allowed two earned runs, five hits and three walks over 6 1/3 innings.
They did not quit in game 2 as Alex Tovalin struck out eight, paving the way for a Cochise College Apaches win. Tovalin allowed one earned run on three hits and no walks over seven innings.
Cochise College Apaches was sparked by Jorge Duarte and Baxter, who teamed up for five hits and three RBIs. Including a homerun by Baxter to start the rally in the 6th inning.
