The annual publication reception of Mirage, the Cochise College Literary and Arts Magazine, is from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 at the Bisbee Community Y, located at 26 Howell Street in Old Bisbee.
Authors will read from work published in Mirage 2014 and, if there is time, from other pieces. Visual artists published in the magazine are invited to bring their work.
Copies of the magazine will be available. Copies are also available in the libraries of both the Sierra Vista and Douglas campuses of Cochise College. Food and beverages will be provided, and there will be an art slide show.
This event is free and open to the public. There is no charge for the reception or the magazine.
Directions to the Bisbee Community Y: From Highway 80, take the Old Bisbee exit by the Queen Mine. Turn left onto Naco Road. In two blocks, turn right on Review (Brewery Gulch). In one short block, turn left on Howell and go up the hill. The Y building (red brick, white trim) is located where Howell curves right. Parking is available in the lot off of Howell.
