Cochise College welcomes Quint Molina as the new business, career and technical education dean. Cullen Scarborough has been appointed the dean of workforce development, military programs and adult education.
Both started their new positions on July 1. Dr. James Perey, executive vice president for academics, said, “I am pleased to welcome Quint and Cullen into their new roles. They bring a wealth of experience, passion for education, and commitment to the communities we serve. Their work and collaboration will be instrumental in expanding our workforce training and credit programming, ensuring we are aligned with the evolving needs of our students and local industries.”
About Quint Molina
Quint Molina, dean of business, career and technology education joins Cochise College from the University of Arizona, where earned his master’s degree and most recently worked in the Agricultural Education, Technology, and Innovation department. A Douglas native, Molina’s passion for education began in his hometown. He graduated from Douglas High School and completed a Bachelor of Science in agricultural technology management and education.
In his previous roles, he made significant contributions to Career and Technical Education (CTE), developing multiple CTE-related minor degrees and certificate programs. Additionally, Molina taught agriculture/CTE at Buckeye High School.
Molina looks forward to collaborating with faculty, students and the local communities. “I am excited to have this opportunity to support the faculty and staff in delivering high-quality course content and experiential learning,” he remarked. “The college is doing amazing things, and I am grateful to contribute by helping that success to continue.”
Molina added, “I look forward to getting involved in the community that helped raise me, and I hope to work shoulder to shoulder with the faculty, staff, and programs to help students find their paths to success each day.” In his spare time, Molina enjoys outdoor adventures, home improvement projects, landscaping, gardening and traveling.
About Cullen Scarborough 
Growing up in Mississippi and Texas, Scarborough’s career path took him to various states and countries while in the Army. In 2005, he was stationed at Fort Huachuca, where he remained after retiring.
Scarborough previously served as the assistant dean of military programs at Cochise College. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Public Administration and Education from Wayland Baptist University and holds an associate degree from Cochise College.
“Nothing happens without continued collaboration between the college leadership, staff, and faculty as well as with the county and military community members and leaders,” Scarborough said. “I am most proud that we continue to improve pathways for our diverse student population.”
In this role, Scarborough will oversee workforce programs, the Fort Huachuca Center, military programs, and adult education supporting the college’s mission. He reflected on his selection for this role, “The college had a primary role in shaping my educational journey. I am honored to be a part of a team that continuously positively impacts the community.”
His hobbies include exploring southern Arizona on his side-by-side and motorcycle. Looking ahead, he is eager to collaborate with the college leaders, staff, and faculty, as well as with the county and military community members and leaders. “I love to learn, value mentorship, and look forward to being part of an organization that strives to support students and the community.”
