Before joining the Cochise College team, Breanna worked as a graduate assistant at Texas A&M University. There she assisted in teaching undergraduate agricultural communications & journalism classes. She also worked in Career Services at the University of Arizona as an Employer Relations Ambassador. She assisted employers with their recruitment efforts and helped students secure jobs after graduation.

As a College Success Navigator, Breanna works with the high school staff, students and community to learn more about the higher education process from enrollment to academic programs to graduation and job placement. “I’ve always had a passion for student engagement and development. I work closely with Benson, Bowie, Buena, San Simon, Valley Union, and Willcox high schools,” said Breanna.

She will visit each area regularly and collaborate with the various college and career readiness programs to support school initiatives. “My role is to build relationships and provide information about the college and post-secondary education. It’s important that students discover what they want to do after high school, whether that is entering the workforce, going to a trade school or university, or serving in the armed forces. I am here to assist in that process,” added Breanna.
