SCOTTSDALE – The Cochise College women’s soccer team fell to conference foe Scottsdale Community College 5-2 on Saturday.

Apaches head coach Andrea Daniels said her squad “didn’t play hard until the 65th minute, too late to earn a winning result.”
Finally coming through to score for Cochise in those late minutes were Kayla Davis, with an assist from Cristal Ruvalcaba, and Franciele Bonfanti.
Cochise is now 0-2 on the season and heads into two games of non-conference play in California at Riverside Community College on Monday and Palomar Community College on Wednesday.
