Cochise College offers a Summer Developmental Education Scholarship for students interested in developmental courses to help them succeed in their college-level coursework. 

The courses included are CPD 150 – Student Success Strategies, ENG 096 – Intermediate Writing, MAT 081 – Beginning Algebra, MAT 091-Intermediate Algebra, or RDG 092 – College Reading.

The scholarship will fund tuition costs of up to 7 credits of developmental courses enrolled this 2021 Summer Semester. The application form is short, easy to fill out, and not based on financial need. There is no essay required. 

To be eligible, students must: 

  1. Complete the Summer Developmental Education Scholarship form .
  2. Be a U.S. Citizen.
  3. Be a resident of Cochise County or a high school student.
  4. Register for CPD 150, ENG 096, MAT 081, MAT 091, or RDG 092. The scholarship will pay for up to two classes.
