Sophomore Tatjana Tatar was named the Arizona Community College Athletic Association’s Player of the Week for Division I for her performances last week in the Cochise women’s basketball games versus Arizona Western and Glendale Community College.
A forward from New Jersey, Tatar averaged 24.0 points, including a 30-point outburst against Glendale. Shot 17-31 (.548) from the floor including 9-15 (.600) on three-pointers. She also had a total of ten rebounds, eight steals, and six assists.
