The Cochise College Music Department is celebrating spring by providing beautiful music and performing several concerts.
The Douglas Campus Choir will host a Choral Concert at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27, at the Cochise College Douglas Campus in the Little Theatre. Then on Thursday, April 28 at 6 p.m., they will perform at Douglas High School in the auditorium.
“Tis a Gift” will be performed at the Cochise College Sierra Vista Campus on Monday, May 2, at 7 p.m.
The Cochise College Jazz Ensemble, Douglas Campus Chorus and Nuevo Mundo & Orchestra will feature Appalachian Spring by Copland, works by Monteverdi, Florence Price, Madrigals, Mozart, Paulus and Z. Randall Stroope.
All are welcome. The events are free, and donations for music scholarships are accepted.
