Nine Cochise College student-athletes land NJCAA All-Academic Honors; Men’s Basketball finishes in top 25 NJCAA Academic Team’s of the Year

UPDATED — The NJCAA released it’s all-academic teams earlier this month for the 2021-2022 academic school year. Below is a list of nine Cochise College student-athletes who were awarded NJCAA All-Academic honors:

First Team NJCAA All-Academic (4.0 GPA)

Aaron Marsh – Baseball

Second Team NJCAA All-Academic (3.80-3.99 GPA)

Mathias LaCombe- Baseball

Jonathan Garcia – Men’s Basketball

Jessenia Lawson – Women’s Basketball

Third Team NJCAA All-Academic (3.60-3.79 GPA)

Roman Garcia – Men’s Basketball

Ismail Pontiac – Baseball

Anthony Martinez – Baseball

Connor Caskanette – Baseball

Evan Shaw – Baseball

Maya Siles – Women’s Soccer

Cochise College Men’s Basketball team finished 23^rd nationally with a combined team GPA of 3.14
