Coaches, mentors, or anyone interested in supporting the CyberPatriot Program in Cochise County are invited to the Coach’s Meeting on Saturday, August 20, from 9- 10 a.m. in classroom 1211 in the Learning Commons at the Cochise College Sierra Vista Campus located at 901 North Colombo Avenue, Sierra Vista, Arizona 85635.
We will discuss various items to support the teams for this year’s competition during this meeting. These items include days and times for practices, computing resources and details for the competition rounds. There will also be a question and answer session with experienced CyberPatriot coaches.
CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air & Space Forces Association to inspire K-12 students in cybersecurity careers or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines critical to our nation’s future.
This event is a great opportunity for coaches and mentors to provide input into how our Cochise College support of the Cochise County teams will be provided.
Please join us if you are thinking of being a coach or mentor for CyberPatriot season 15. Any middle school, home school, or high school can create a team. If you are interested in volunteering to support our K-12 competitors, join us!
All high schools, middle schools, approved home school programs, and JROTC units of all services are invited to participate.
Seating is limited. Please reserve your seat (RSVP) or send questions to Dan Guilmette at guilmetted@cochise.edu.
