BISBEE — Last Friday, the Cochise College women’s soccer team added another notch of community service to its belt by volunteering with the Bisbee Youth Soccer League.
The Apaches divided the youth soccer players into five groups to work on ball-handling skills for two hours in the afternoon. At the end of the session, the BYSL players challenged the Cochise players to a soccer match.
“The girls always do so great with our community’s youth,” said Cochise head coach Andrea Daniels. “We had a great time and we are very grateful to share with young people what we love so much, the game of soccer.”
