Robles is a student at Douglas Campus studying computer science. He was selected for the honor based on scores earned in the All-USA Academic Team competition and, in February, received a tuition waiver from the Arizona Board of Regents to complete his bachelor’s degree at Northern Arizona University.

In addition, Robles has been an active participant in a variety of college and community programs. He was the Student Government Association president, a Phi Theta Kappa member, a peer mentor and vice president for records with the TRi Club.

Reflecting on his achievements, Robles shared, “I really value the transformative magic of reading, and I am excited for the future!”

The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation sponsors the Coca-Cola Academic Team program by recognizing 50 Gold, 50 Silver, and 50 Bronze Scholars with nearly $200,000 in scholarships annually. Each scholar also receives a commemorative medallion.

Students are nominated for the academic team by their college administrators. Selection is based on academic achievement, leadership, and engagement in college and community service.

Coca-Cola Academic Team members will be recognized in both local and statewide ceremonies. They will also be recognized internationally during Phi Theta Kappa’s annual convention, PTK Catalyst, in Orlando, Florida, April 4 – 6.
