MESA — The Cochise College men’s basketball team fell to Mesa Community College on Saturday 93-75.
Tim Jacobs led the Apaches with 18 points, Demitrius Balark added 14 and Ronald Singleton had 12.
“We played from behind the whole night and we fought in the second half, but we’re not a very good product right now,” Cochise head coach Jerry Carrillo told the Sierra Vista Herald. “We’re not defending with great integrity and we’re having a hard time scoring.”
Cochise is 2-4 heading into Wednesday night’s game at Eastern Arizona College, followed by a home game against Tohono O’odham at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free to all regular-season home games.
