Cochise College women’s soccer goalie Samantha Renteria, a freshman from Rio Rico, Ariz., was named ACCAC Goalkeeper of the Week, announced Monday. Renteria made six saves and allowed just one goal in 77 minutes of action as the Apaches won twice.
Cochise College women’s soccer midfielder, Maria Azarias, a sophomore from Santa Catarina, Brazil, was awarded Arizona Community College Athletic Conference Player of the Week honors. Azarias pumped in six goals and had an assist in two Cochise wins.
