The team with new fans at the STRIVE picnic at the Western Colorado Botanical Gardens. Each district played lawn games with special needs residents from the area.

“It makes you feel privileged to play,” said left fielder Zach Nance. “It was a fun time getting to know them. We played games, some of us just sat around and talked to them, about their lives, what they do, what sports they like. It was humbling.”
