IMG_3843DOUGLAS — The Cochise College women’s soccer team won its fourth straight game Tuesday afternoon with a 4-1 victory over South Mountain Community College.

Brooke Madden scored in the fourth minute to put Cochise ahead from the start. Ivonne Cisneros added to the Apaches’ lead with a goal in the 21st minute, assisted by Madden.

After halftime, BreAnna Laird scored twice for Cochise, in the 48th minute and again in the 61st minute. South Mountain scored in the 60th minute.

Cochise is 4-0 on the season and in conference play. Thursday’s game at Phoenix College was postponed due to lightning and rescheduled for 7 p.m. Sept. 16. The Apaches return home Monday, Sept. 8, for a 3 p.m. matchup against Arizona Western College.

Admission is free to all regular-season home games.
