Cochise College will be closed from Dec. 20 through Jan. 4 for Winter Break. Campus bookstores will be open for limited hours during the break.

Offices reopen under normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 5 at all campuses and centers. Spring semester 16-week and 8-week classes begin Jan. 12. Registration for classes must be completed the day before class begins. A late registration option is no longer available.

Extended registration hours are offered for students who need assistance registering in-person on the Sierra Vista or Douglas campuses the first two weeks of January:

  • Jan. 5 – 16, 2015:
    8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Mon – Thur
    8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Fridays
  • Saturday, Jan. 10:
    9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The college’s bookstores on the Sierra Vista and Douglas campuses will be open for part of Winter Break. The bookstores are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 22-23, closed Dec. 24-26, open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 29-30 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 31, and closed Jan. 1. On Jan. 2, the bookstore on the Sierra Vista campus is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the Douglas bookstore is closed.

Prior to and following the break, campus dining facilities will have adjusted hours. The Sierra Vista Campus Union Café will close at 1 p.m. Dec. 19 and reopen Jan. 5-9 for lunch only, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Full service will begin Monday, Jan. 12. The Douglas Campus cafeteria will close at noon Dec. 19 and reopen Jan. 5-9 for lunch only, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Service for the residence hall students will begin at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10.

The Cochise College libraries will be open for normal hours through Dec. 16. The libraries will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 17-18, closed Dec. 19-Jan. 7, open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan 8-9, and return to regular hours starting Monday, Jan. 12.
