Free GED preparation classes are available at Cochise College campuses and centers next semester, and registration is approaching.

At the Sierra Vista Campus, registration for GED classes is scheduled for 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Jan. 7 and 8 in building P-1, room 2007, on the east side of campus. Registration and placement testing will last two hours. Arrive five minutes prior to the registration time you choose to attend. Morning and evening GED courses are offered next semester. Also, registration and placement testing for January English Language Acquisition for Adults (ELAA) classes in Sierra Vista is ongoing by appointment. Call (520) 515-5456 before Dec. 12 to make an appointment.

At the Willcox Center, GED preparation class registration will be at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 8 and 9. Registration and placement testing will last two hours. At the Benson Center, GED class registration and placement testing will be at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 7, 8 and 10, also lasting two hours. GED classes begin Jan. 14 and are held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Benson Center. For more information, call (520) 586-1981, ext. 3304.
