The Cochise College Small Business Development Center is partnering with the Army Career and Alumni Program (ACAP) to offer two free business planning workshops on Fort Huachuca this month.
If you are thinking about starting a business or updating an existing plan for a business you are currently running, the Business Plan Writing workshop is for you.
The workshops are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both Monday, Dec. 10, and Tuesday, Dec. 18 in building 41421, located at 14 Rhea Avenue, on Fort Huachuca. Each class will cover the same topics, including all the elements of a business plan, and provide handouts and take-home materials to attendees.
The instructors for the course are Small Business Development Center director Mark Schmitt and SBDC business analysts Bob Mucci and Cecilia Rivas Schuermann.
Active duty military, veterans and their spouses or dependents are strongly encouraged to attend. Classes are also open to the public. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Advance registration is required to attend. Contact ACAP Center at (520) 533-5764 to register. Contact the Cochise College Small Business Development Center at (520) 515-5478 with questions about the event.
