The women’s soccer team was finally able to use their skills against a different opponent; Douglas High School stepped in to see how they matched up. The afternoon was a success allowing lineups to be organized and reorganized looking for the best match for their first two opponents in California this week. Following the trip to California they open their conference schedule with home games against Paradise Valley on Tuesday, Aug. 31 and Scottsdale on Wednesday, Sept. 1, each at 3:30 p.m. This year, the Apaches will be led by some of the top players from last season and will be looking to improve on their successes.
