DOUGLAS — The Cochise College women’s basketball team routed Tohono O’odham Community College on Saturday, 85-44.
The Apaches led 45-25 at the half on their way to evening their record to 3-3.
Tianna Brown and Te Oramae Solomon led all scorers with 19 points apiece, followed by Destiny Amezquita with 17. Jessica Almeida had eight assists and eight rebounds.
Cochise plays next at Chandler-Gilbert on Tuesday, followed by the Arizona Western Tournament over Thanksgiving weekend. While in Yuma, the Apaches will face Carl Albert on Friday and Anoka Ramsey on Saturday.
The Apaches are back at the Douglas Campus on Dec. 4 against Arizona Western for a 5:30 p.m. matchup. Admission is free to all regular-season home games.
