DOUGLAS — The Cochise College men’s basketball team fell to Chandler-Gilbert Community College on Saturday, 97-95.
Demitrius Balark led the Apaches with 18 points, followed by Jordan Martin with 16, and LaBradford Sebree and Ronald Singleton with 14 apiece. Tim Jacobs scored 12 and Oliver Guerrero added 11.
Cochise was down 45-42 at halftime, but the rally after the break fell short. The loss drops the Apaches to 6-10 in conference play and 11-13 overall.
Next for Cochise is a game at rival Arizona Western on Wednesday, followed by a road game at Glendale on Saturday. The Apaches return home Feb. 12 for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff against Central Arizona College.
Admission is free to all regular-season home games.
