High School Equivalency test preparation classes and English Language Acquisition courses are offered at Cochise College’s Sierra Vista, Douglas, Benson and Willcox locations this August.

In Arizona, the GED test is the accepted high school equivalency exam for the next 12 months.

Registration is going on now for Sierra Vista classes, which begin Aug. 12. Register by Aug. 5 in person at the Adult Education/1400 Building during regular business hours, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

In Douglas, classes begin Aug. 18. Register between July 14 and Aug. 6 in person at the Adult Education/400 Building between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.

At the Benson Center, registration for High School Equivalency test preparation classes is Aug. 5 or 6 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Classes start Aug. 12.

All applicants should bring a legal photo ID for proof of residence at the time of registration. Orientation will be held for students prior to the start of classes.
