Douglas — The Cochise College Apaches
The Apaches hosted the Hillcrest Hawks on Friday night and increased their perfect 3-0 record. This game was a team effort as seven different Apaches scored in the double digits. Led by freshman forward Dallas Polk-Hilliard with 17 points and 7 rebounds, Cochise won 115-74. Sophomore point guard Arell Hennings had a double-double with 15 points and 12 assists. Forwards Jaben Garrett, Emanual Shepherd, and Chaz Mack had 15, 11, and 16 points respectively, while guards Justin Jones and DJ Blackmon had 11 and 12 points. The Apaches will host New Mexico Military Institute on Saturday at 4 p.m.
