Pima CC looks to reschedule the ACCAC game
The #23 NJCAA pre-season ranked Cochise College Apaches had their ACCAC opener on Jan. 26 postponed by Pima Community College. Plans are being made to reschedule this contest.
“We hope to make this game up. We do enjoy a great rivalry with local Southern Arizona foe Pima CC. Even though Pima never won an actual ACCAC title since the late 1980s—Head Coach Brian Peabody has turned the Aztecs into an NJCAA DII powerhouse on the national scene,” said Head Coach Jerry Carrillo. “In his tenure, we have exciting games at Pima in front of full house crowds, with us winning the last three out of four contests.”
