Cochise College sophomore Maria Azarias was awarded Arizona Community College Athletic Conference Division I Player of the Year honors for the third consecutive year.
Azarias, a midfielder from Santa Catarina, Brazil, helped the Apaches’ record to 8-6-2 and 4-4-2 in the ACCAC conference. In those games, she scored 13 goals and had eight assists.
She was also named All-ACCAC first team.
