Business funding workshop to be offered at Cochise

SIERRA VISTA — Join the Cochise College Small Business Development Center, Compound Profit of Arizona and Your Assurance Team for a free program about funding and business credit, titled Get Funded: Business Credit and Access to Capital.

This free workshop is set for 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11 at the Sierra Vista Campus in room 702. The workshop gives and overview of business vs. personal credit, then explains what is needed to qualify for traditional financing plus some alternative financing options.

The workshop will also explain why business credit is important, the differences between business and personal credit, key elements in developing business credit, criteria to qualify for traditional business loans, and provide a review of several alternative lending sources.

Leading this workshop will be Christy Giroux, owner and regional director of Compound Profit of Arizona and Brent Kempton, owner and operator of Your Assurance Team.
