Cochise College celebrated a recognition ceremony honoring nine new medical assistants on Monday, Dec. 12, at the college’s Downtown Center. 

The guest speaker was Jason Begemann, a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant and  2019 Cochise College Medical Assistant alumnus. Stacy Snitzler was unanimously voted by the class to provide the student address. 

Program Coordinator Nickie Dannels, RN, BSN, welcomed guests and thanked faculty, staff, and friends and family members who attended and supported the students. 

“In this group, we had a 100% passing rate on the Registered Medical Assistant National Certification Exam, said Nickie Dannels, Medical Professions Coordinator. “We are so proud of our students.” 

The rigorous program prepares students for entry-level employment in a medical practice with concentrations in clinical and administrative tasks. Cochise College diligently works to provide the communities we serve with skilled caregivers in the growing field of medical professionals. The medical assistant graduates who received their pins and were recognized are:
