Cochise College women’s soccer player Ivonne Cisneros was named ACCAC Player of the Week, announced Tuesday, for helping to lead the Apaches to a 6-1 rout over Glendale after a tough 1-0 loss to Chandler-Gilbert.
Cisneros scored three goals and added an assist in the two games. She was part of four of the six goals scored against Glendale.
Cisneros and the Apaches are 8-4 heading into Thursday’s matchup against Pima Community College. Game time is 2 p.m. at Bujalski Track and Field Complex, next to Barnes Field House on Fort Huachuca.
Admission is free to all regular-season home games.
