SIERRA VISTA — To recognize Black History Month, the Cochise College Center for Lifelong Learning and Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Coop will co-sponsor the Black Inventors Tour 2013 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Feb. 7 at the college’s Sierra Vista Campus in room 702.

This hands-on exhibit has unique, interactive activities that bring history alive for all ages. The exhibit educates students about career opportunities and the life-changing inventions of African Americans in the fields of aviation, science, engineering and health care.

A special presentation will be given by retired NASA Launch Engineer Donald Pipkins from Johnson Space Center.
