As the holiday season approaches, music enthusiasts in Sierra Vista have a reason to rejoice. The Cochise College Music Department has announced a series of free concerts set to take place throughout December, featuring performances by the Jazz Band, Orchestra, Nuevo Mundo, and the college Choirs.
The musical festivities kick off with the Cochise College Jazz Band and Orchestra taking the stage at Faith Presbyterian Church, located at 2053 E. Choctaw Drive in Sierra Vista, on Friday, Dec. 8. The harmonious notes will fill the air starting at 7 p.m., promising an evening of musical excellence.
Saturday, Dec. 9, marks the date when Nuevo Mundo and the Cochise College Choirs will provide a concert at Faith Presbyterian Church. The event is scheduled for 7 p.m., ensuring a Saturday night filled with the magic of music.
Then, the Sierra Vista Community Band will captivate audiences at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10, as they take the Rothery Center Stage, located at 3305 E. Fry Blvd in Sierra Vista.
