DOUGLAS — The Cochise College men’s basketball ran its winning streak to seven on Wednesday night with a 94-79 victory over Pima Community College.
Tim Jacobs led the Apaches with 21 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. Demitrius Balark scored 16, Oliver Guerrero and Ronald Singleton had 14 apiece and Bryan Laws had 10.
“Tim Jacobs had a really good floor game and I thought we shared the ball really well,” Cochise head coach Jerry Carrillo told the Sierra Vista Herald. “It was a good team win.”
Pima’s Shakir Smith led the Aztecs with 26 points.
Cochise is 11-6 overall and 6-3 in the ACCAC heading into Saturday’s game against Phoenix College. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on the Douglas Campus. Admission is free to all regular-season home games.
