DOUGLAS – High school students from across the state and region are invited to the Douglas Campus next month for an open workout session and evaluation by Cochise College men’s basketball staff.
The Apaches’ annual Basketball Day is set for 1 p.m. Friday, April 27 in Stronghold Gymnasium at the Douglas Campus. The one-day event geared toward graduating seniors is an evaluated workout, not a tryout.
In order to attend, participants should:
1. Have an up-to-date physical
2. Wear proper workout attire (athletic shorts, shoes, etc.)
3. Bring a $10 processing fee
4. Not have used up college eligibility
This session offers student athletes a chance to see what Cochise College and its athletics department have to offer.
This season’s Cochise men’s basketball team was the champion of the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference. The Apaches finished ranked No. 18 in the National Junior College Athletic Association.
