SIERRA VISTA — The Cochise College women’s soccer team enjoyed a day of community service at Coronado Elementary school this week.

The Apaches regularly visit schools in Cochise County during the season and in the offseason to teach local kids about the game of soccer and the importance of physical fitness.

“We love sharing our time with our community’s youth,” said Cochise head women’s soccer coach Andrea Daniels. “Each child is so special and soccer gives us an opportunity to reach out and be a positive role model.”
