Apaches 8 game win streak comes to an end

The Apaches had the chance to clinch a 3rd straight ACCAC title last night at home in the Stronghold gymnasium but were unable to close out the visiting Vaqueros. Cochise was down 32-31 at halftime and came out strong in the second half scoring the first 7 points of the half. But CAC was too strong down the stretch and celebrated the 4 point victory with great pleasure as that was the first victory by the Vaqueros over Cochise since the 2014-15 season.

Cochise was led in scoring by Brian Rios with 18 points and Johnny Garcia with 15 points.

Cochise is now 7-2 in the ACCAC and 8-3overall on the Spring ’21 season.
