MESA — The Cochise College women’s basketball team came up short at Mesa Community College, falling Wednesday 64-57.
No Apaches scored in double figures, but several on the roster contributed to the effort. Arianna Anderson scored nine, Taylor Harris and McCorra Ford had eight apiece, Te Oramae Solomon and Essence Jones had seven apiece.
Cochise is 13-6 overall and 7-5 in conference play. Next, they return home to face Tohono O’odham Community College at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free to all regular-season home games.
