DOUGLAS — The Cochise College women’s basketball team lost to Central Arizona College on Wednesday, 78-64.
Destiny Amezquita led the Apaches with 27 points, and Arianna Anderson added 12.
Cochise is 12-5 overall and 6-4 in conference play heading into two games on the road, first at Glendale on Saturday, then at Mesa on Wednesday.
The Apaches return home Jan. 24 against Tohono O’odham Community College. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. Admission is free to all regular-season home games.
