PHOENIX — The Cochise College women’s basketball team rallied to beat Phoenix College on Saturday, 69-66.
Cochise was down 40-33 at halftime, but scored 36 after the break to secure the win. Destiny Amezquita led the Apaches with 22 points. Te Oramae Solomon scored 15.
Cochise is 12-4 overall and 6-3 in conference play heading into Wednesday night’s home game against Central Arizona College. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. Admission is free to all regular-season home games.
