In the last regular-season game, the Cochise College women’s basketball team came out swinging. Cochise started the game with a lot of energy and had a 10 point lead on Pima College at halftime. In the third quarter, Pima battled back, and foul trouble plagued Cochise. The teams went back and forth in the fourth quarter. Pima Community College ultimately pulled away, beating Cochise College 83-68.
Sophomore Taylor Salazar led Cochise with a career and game-high 30 points. Tatiana Tatar chipped in 11 points.
