Congratulations to the Cochise College graduates of the class of 2023. Join us to watch our virtual commencement celebration.

Nursing ceremony is set for May 11.

Cochise College will hold its 58th commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. on May 12 on its Douglas Campus.

Students completing the nursing program will participate in a pinning ceremony at the campus the evening prior.

Both ceremonies will be tobacco-free, including e-cigarettes. Offices at all campuses and centers will close at 3 p.m. on commencement day.

The ceremony will occur on the lawn adjacent to the Charles Di Peso Library. All traffic will enter the Douglas Campus with traffic counter-clockwise and one-way. Parking Lot A is available for accessibility parking only.

This year, Cochise College will award over 1,400 diplomas and 445 certificates. About 330 students are expected to participate in commencement ceremonies. Live online streaming, accessed at www.cochise.edu, will allow friends and relatives to see everything from the processional to the last graduate crossing the stage.

The student speaker at commencement will be Ivanetza Federico Molina, who will earn an Associate of Arts degree with honors in fine arts. She plans to transfer to Northern Arizona University. She is the coordinator of residential life for the Student Government Association and a student mentor for the peer mentoring program. She is also an active member of the TRI Club, Undergraduate Research Club and the Art Club.
