The Cochise College Art Department showcased artistic talents of students and adults of all ages at its inaugural street art festival in Douglas last weekend.

The Cochise College 50th anniversary logo recreated in chalk at the inaugural street art festival hosted by the college’s art department at the Douglas Walmart last weekend, Oct. 10-11.
The event held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Friday, Oct. 10, and Saturday, Oct. 11, on the pavement in front of the Walmart was themed “Celebrating Education in the Arts.” Everyone from young kids, eager to get their hands on some chalk, to seasoned and professional artists participated, transforming the pavement into a canvass of of artistic expression.
