The Cochise College soccer team won its third straight game this weekend, beating South Mountain Community College 3-1 on Saturday.
Taylor Kruse scored all three of the Apaches’ goals in the second half, the first in the 69th minute, the next in the 72nd minute, and the last in the 86th minute.
South Mountain scored its lone goal in the 73rd minute. Cochise goalie Diana Medrano made three saves.
The Apaches are 8-3-1 on the season and look to continue their winning streak Tuesday at 3 p.m. at home against Phoenix. The Apaches travel to Arizona Western on Thursday and are back home Saturday against Paradise Valley.
Admission is free to all regular-season home games.
