SIERRA VISTA — The Cochise College Literary Guild club for readers and lovers of books meets the first Thursday of every month this semester for book discussions.
All meetings are from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. in the Horace Steele Room in the Library Building on the Sierra Vista Campus. Discussions are free and open to students as well as members of the community.
All four books this semester have been turned into films.
The first book discussion is “Ender’s Game” by Orson Scott Card on Feb. 6, followed by “The Lost Child of Philomena Lee” by Martin Sixsmith on March 6. “The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak is set for April 3, and the final book of the semester is “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,” a short story by James Thurber, on May 1.
