Cochise College libraries will celebrate National Library Week, observed April 14-20, at the Sierra Vista Campus on Tuesday, April 16, and the Douglas Campus on Wednesday, April 17.
Both open houses will offer a chance to visit with library staff, learn about what the libraries offer and enjoy free cookies and refreshments between 1 and 4 p.m. each day.
During National Library Week and throughout the month of April, libraries across the country host events to “highlight the unique role libraries play in people’s lives,” according to the American Library Association website.
