SIERRA VISTA — Cochise College’s Phi Theta Kappa: Alpha Mu Zeta chapter is organizing a drive for art supplies to be donated to elementary schools this month.
For the group’s annual Honors in Action project, the honor society is asking community members from across Cochise and Santa Cruz counties to donate art supplies that will be given to local elementary schools in need. Donation boxes are located at each Cochise College campus and center — Sierra Vista, Douglas, Willcox, Benson, Nogales and Fort Huachuca.
At the Sierra Vista Campus, the boxes can be found at both library and the Student Union. At the Douglas Campus, a box is in the Student Union.
All the supplies donated will go to the school(s) in that area. The boxes will be out until at least Dec. 14, and possibly into next semester if supplies are continuing to be donated.
