Anderson, Amezquita, Solomon
Three players on the Cochise College women’s basketball team were recognized for their efforts this season by the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference on Thursday.
Sophomores Destiny Amezquita and Te Oramae Solomon were each named to the All-ACCAC Second Team, and freshman Arianna Anderson was placed the All-ACCAC Third Team. Amezquita and Solomon were each included in the Second Team All-Region for Division I.
Amezquita led the Apaches in 3-pointers with 53 this season and in points per game with a 13.5 average, followed by Solomon with an average of 12 points per game, and Anderson with 12. Anderson led the team in rebounds per game with an average of 6.4.
