Cochise College is hosting free new student orientation sessions prior to the upcoming fall semester. Students are invited to learn more about opportunities available on campus, as well as details regarding financial aid, degree planning and other important information needed to succeed while attending college.
At the Douglas Campus, orientation is set for Friday, Aug. 17 in the Student Union. Registration begins at 1 p.m. and sessions run from 2 to 5 p.m. Douglas Campus Student Government will host a pizza party for those in attendance after orientation is finished.
At the Sierra Vista Campus, orientation is Saturday, Aug. 18, in the Student Union. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., while departments from campus are available to answer questions from students. Orientation officially runs from 9 to noon.
Sierra Vista’s orientation theme is “getting involved,” and its Student Government and wide array of clubs will host a carnival of activities to go with information tables.
All students should pre-register, or call (520) 515-3609 in Sierra Vista or (520) 419-4044 in Douglas for more information.
