DOUGLAS — The Cochise College Professional Development team held its third annual Dress For Success: Fashion Show Extravaganza on the Douglas Campus last week.
The fashion show is held each year at each Cochise College campus, with students modeling to their peers what to wear and what not to wear to make a positive first impression in professional situations, such as a job interview.
This year’s hour-long show in the Student Union featured 12 models and three segments: business professional, business casual and what not to wear.
Business professional men’s wear was provided by Coleman’s in Douglas and women’s wear by Maurice’s and Dillard’s in Sierra Vista. Students supplied their own business casual wear, as well as their “what not to wear” clothing, a comic relief segment of inappropriate clothing.
Cochise College’s Student Government Association of Sierra Vista collaborated with the Professional Development to put on the event, which more than 70 people attended.
